In 1897, the first John M. Downey
established a small rug cleaning shop in the back of his
bakery on the west side of Columbus to help support his wife
and eight children. He certainly would have never
imagined that the business he started would survive through
five generations.
For
more than 112 years, we have been determined to lead our industry, from

The
